You can open the container after 45 days but be careful that you do not shake the content before opening the container. After you have opened the lid, siphon out the liquid slowly in gallon jugs. Ensure that the gallon jugs have screw lids and you may even use approximately 2 liter bottles for storing these.

Also, you should take care that matter does not get stirred and sediment tends to slowly settled in the bottom portion of the jar. After this you can keep the content in any other air tight container for a period of 30 days before finally bottling it. If you find that the juices murky then it is advisable to keep it there for a longer period of time before bottling.
